Erol Topuz

Mr. Topuz is the Managing Partner for the Defense Industry at Golden Trophy Capital. He has 21 years of experience in the sector and particular expertise in heavy & light arms, aviation, robotics and corporate strategy.  

 

Mr. Topuz acted as a C-Level executive in a variety of firms, managing projects ranging from R&D to procurement, production, and logistics. Mr. Topuz also holds 3 patents in the field of automation, carrying technical expertise as an engineer.

Prior to joining Golden Trophy Capital, he oversaw a wide range of corporate development projects as the Vice President of Assan ASP A.Ş., the fourth largest provider of spare parts for construction equipment, and its subsidiary ASSAV, the leading special ammunition and heavy arms provider of Turkey. Before his tenure in Assan, he had assumed the role of the General Coordinator of Yayla Agro A.Ş., a Fortune 500 company. Mr. Topuz had experience in international mergers and partnerships as an executive in various joint ventures in the arms sector.

 

He holds a BSc in Electrical and Electronical Engineering from Girne American University, as well as an MBA from Düzce University with a specialization in Finance and Organization. Currently, he is pursuing a Ph.D. in Industrial Management.
