Barbaros Bey has approximately 28 years of experience in the technology sector. During his 10-year career in the Turkcell group, Mr. Barbaros took an active role in the acquisition of approximately 7 companies by Turkcell. Barbaros was responsible for Turkcell's corporate sales operations in Türkiye and Europe. During his period, Türkcell had great breakthroughs and developments. Barbaros has been working as a Managing Partner in Telecom and Technology sector of Golden Trophy Capital since 2022. Barbaros Özdemir has a BS in Computer Engineering from Bilkent University. He has a master's in digital transformation from IMD Business School.

  • 2008 Buy Side: He took part in Borusan Telekom's Vodafone sales process.
  • 2009 Buy Side:  Participated in the acquisition of Superonline from Çukurova Telekom to Turkcell.
  • 2009 Sell Side: He was on the sponsor side of the sale of Bilyoneri Firm Turkcell to Telekom Çukurova with a share swap.
  • 2010 Buy Side: The acquisition of Sabancı Telekom in Superonline was managed by the sponsor.
  • 2011 Sell Side: The acquisition of Ülker Group's Global İletişim, Telco and Datacenter companies in Superonline was managed by the sponsor.
  • 2013 Buy Side: Acquisition of Dexar Satellite and Telecom company from Zorlu Holding to Superonline was managed by the sponsor.
  • 2018 JV Establishment: Established a joint company between Jamaica Digicell and Turkcell Lifecell.
  • 2018 JV Establishment:  Established a telecik company in Nepal and establishing Turkcell shareholding.
