Being an international extensive experienced senior executive, highly motivated and having Management, Business Development and Consulting oriented background in the Energy & Infrastructure sector Dr. Bilmez has an executive role as “Head of Grid Technologies” at Uniper Technologies GmbH.
Dr. Bilmez is responsible for the entire Uniper business area engineering & construction (Uniper Grid Technologies) including business development, sales and execution of grid construction management and engineering projects for TSOs (Transmission System Operators) and DSOs (Distribution System Operators).
Prior to these positions Cezmi was General Manager of one of the largest Engineering consulting company, WSP at Turkey office. He has lead technical due diligence projects for large energy project financing. He was also founder and director of Fitchner-Turkey office.
Cezmi has worked in the energy projects with clients like OYAK, GAMA GE, EnerjiSA, Borusan EnBW, Zorlu, UNIT, SOYAK, CINER, LODOS, Polat Enerji, Global, GDF, Akenerji, SEDAS, FINA Enerji among international finance institutions and banks (The World Bank, IFC, KfW, EIB, EBRD, TSKB as well as commercial banks Iş Bankası, Vakıfbank, Akbank, Garanti Bankası, Yapı Kredi, DenizBank, LBBW, ABN Amro, Unicredit, Deutsche Bank.
